Angel Velazquez

Angel Velazquez

Born in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands in 1972, Mr. Velazquez grew up in Bellingham, Massachusetts.  He is a Combat Veteran serving in the US Army for 13 years as a Radar Repairer, currently living in Lawton, Oklahoma, and is a Radar Repair Instructor for the US Army.  Over the years Angel has had various roles on stage and film, including  Manager, Event Coordinator, Master of Ceremonies, DJ, Assistant Director, and Character Actor.  Having been a member of the Trail of Fear Scream Park Cast since 2008, Mr. Velazquez has had numerous roles from scare acting to General Park Manager. 
Darrel Ashford

Mr. Ashford is the father of three wonderful children and a veteran actor from the Duncan area. He has appeared in plays from MASH to Fiddler on the Roof. Having spent time backstage as both Stage Manager and a Director, he is always up to a new challenge in front of an audience and is not afraid of the unknown.
Eric Bradford

While spending his days as a music and drama teacher at DOVE Science Academy in Oklahoma City, Mr. Bradford has been seen on stages all over Oklahoma for more than twenty-five years.  He received a Bachelor of Music at Cameron University in 1998 and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Central Oklahoma in 2007.  Eric teaches voice lessons, directs musicals and plays, conducts orchestras, and acts on stage whenever the right opportunity presents itself.  Represented by MAGNA Talent Agency, Eric has acted in several commercials online and on local TV.  He lives in Yukon, OK with his lovely wife, Michele, has a beautiful 10 year old daughter, Hope, and two step children, Malorie and Mason.
Sarah Allen

Fairly new to the theater world, having dabbled a little in high school, her first show was with the Lawton Improv Theater in September 2016.  She is a mother to one son, who is her world, an animal lover with two large dogs.  Ms. Allen serves as a Social Services Assistant at Reynolds Army Community Hospital, working with soldiers who suffer from traumatic brain injuries.  She is very thankful to have the opportunity to help soldiers in need.  In her spare time she enjoys being a mother, pursuing her love for theater, and hobbies, like baking, antique shopping, anything artsy, and spending time with friends.  Sarah looks forward to many more productions with the Lawton Improv Theater and meeting many new faces.

Alison Heitner

Winning her first coloring contest at age 3, organizing  neighborhood children to perform shows, and being called “songbird” for many year, Ms. Heitner always had a knack for the creative.  Playing various roles in high school,  she received a BA in Theater from Oswego State University.  After a hiatus from acting, Alison is delighted to be performing again, having been in Duncan Little Theater’s productions of “Beauty and the Beast” and “Into the Woods.”  Being a jack of all trades and wearing many hats, she is pleased to be part of the Lawton Improv Theater troupe.

Working for Women’s Haven, Mrs. Raber has a passion for being an advocate for those who need support, as well as being a wife, mother and grandmother.  Considering age just a number, Linda is passionate about life and celebrating loved ones, both family and friends.  Enjoying the arts, she has been in several productions from Duncan Little Theater and Lawton Improv Theater.
Tina Bradshaw

Being an Army wife with an 11-year old daughter and 6-year old, twin boys, Mrs. Bradshaw is kept on her toes!  Living in Duncan the last seven years, she is the owner of Characters To Life, which provides characters, like Mickey Mouse, Cinderella, Captain America and Superman, plus 38 others, to birthday parties and events.  Acting is something she likes to do on a regular basis with her children.  On any given day they might be pretending to be someone else, or somewhere else, and having a great time! She considers acting extremely good therapy for her busy life.

From Stuttgart, Germany, Mrs. Bates moved to the Unites States with her husband, a  member in the United States Army.  She has a business degree and is currently a full-time student at Cameron University on a path to get a Masters in Nursing.  Hoping to become a Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the NICU, she also works as an Independent SCENTSY Consultant, has her own Photography business, and is an Algebra tutor. During Halloween she is a 3-year veteran of the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park and has performed in every Lawton Improv Theater show since its inception in September 2016.

Being a 30-year Firefighter EMT from Southern California, Mr. McCann wound up working at Disneyland after retiring.  Having moved to Oklahoma five years ago, he finds himself busy, delivering meals to senior citizens , driving a school bus, being a DME provider for Promise Care Hospice, and is a veteran cast member at the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park. In his free time, Shannon enjoys fishing, being outdoors, and collecting Fire Department/EMS patched and pins.

Born in 1983 in Lawton, OK, Mr. Plata is married to his dear wife, Alyssa, and has five children.  Working by day as the lead landscaper for the Oaks Development Company, he debuted his acting prowess with Lawton Improv Theater in September 2016 and is happy to be part of this troupe.

Bob Wright

Read Bio

Born in Lawton, Bob started at a young age acting and singing in the Lawton Ft. Sill community doing both Lawton Community Theater and Lawton/Ft Sill Cabaret Theater productions with the full support of his parents.  He started playing the piano, trumpet, and singing in elementary school and continued through college with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance from Cameron University.   Bob created the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park with his father and they are celebrating their 20th season in 2018.  He wouldn’t be where he is today without the constant support of his parents and the patience of his father!  Bob is VERY excited about bringing Lawton Improv Theater to Lawton and is looking forward to furthering theater arts and education in the community.

Vickie Wigginton

Born in Corinth, Mississippi and the child of a Military family Vickie moved several times in her childhood.  As a child she woold have the neighboring kids put together USO style shows.  She has been an actress and director since junior high school and knew at a young age she wanted to be a teacher.  Attending both Cameron University and Oklahoma University after graduation she came right back to Lawton and started teaching and directing.  She has participated as an actress, director, and more in over 200 productions working with numerous professional directors and playwrights.  Lawton Improv Theater is VERY lucky to have Vickie as a part of our team!!
